We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer (RPEQ) with a strong background in construction monitoring to play a key role in the delivery of urban development projects across the Sunshine Coast and broader region.
This role will suit someone who enjoys being involved across the full project lifecycle from detailed design through to site delivery and who takes pride in maintaining high standards of quality safety and client outcomes.
You will be responsible for:
- Providing senior-level technical input across urban development and civil infrastructure projects
- Leading and undertaking construction monitoring including site inspections contractor liaison and reporting
- Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with design specifications and relevant standards
- Supporting and mentoring junior engineers and designers within the team
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients contractors and internal stakeholders
- Contribute to project planning delivery and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications :
- A bachelors degree in Civil Engineering
- RPEQ or willingness to obtain in the near future
- Proven experience in construction monitoring within urban development projects
- Strong understanding of Australian standards local authority requirements and construction practices
- Strong organisational and interpersonal skills for facilitating internal and external stakeholder engagements and business development opportunities.
- Experience in successfully managing projects meeting Client objectives.
