Job Summary

Position Overview

The Chief Financial Officer will serve as the companys top financial executive and a key member of the leadership team. This individual will provide strategic direction and hands-on leadership of financial operations including accounting FP&A budgeting/forecasting cash management banking audit/tax and financial reporting.

The ideal candidate will be a CPA (active or inactive) with early career experience in Audit strong operational finance leadership and a track record of driving process improvement systems enhancement and organizational scalability in blue-collar B2B environments.

The CFO will manage a team of approximately 10 professionals and oversee IT (outsourced) and HR. This is an onsite role based near downtown Los Angeles five days weekly.

Key Responsibilities

Lead accounting financial reporting FP&A budgeting forecasting and cost management

Implement financial controls policies and procedures

Drive EBITDA improvement cash flow optimization and working capital efficiency

Partner with leadership to support operational excellence and strategic decision-making

Upgrade systems reporting analytics and automation

Lead mentor and develop the finance team

Oversee IT strategy cybersecurity and vendor relationships

Oversee HR operations risk management compliance and payroll

Manage banking tax audit insurance and risk

Professional Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field required; MBA a plus

Active or inactive CPA required

Early career experience in Audit required

15-20 years of progressive finance leadership experience

Experience in B2B blue-collar/skilled trades/commercial services/distribution companies with contractual based recurring revenue

Experience in $100M-$300M companies

Proven ability to scale processes and systems

Strong knowledge of GAAP controls budgeting cost accounting and treasury

Experience managing external partners banks auditors vendors

Experience overseeing IT and/or HR a plus

Compensation & Location

Target base salary range: $275000 - $325000 plus bonus and incentives tied to EBITDA growth

Based near downtown Los Angeles

Onsite five days weekly
