We are working with an establishedIndustrial Manufacturingcompany based in**Rochelle Illinois.**They are recruiting for a**Maintenance Mechanic**to join their team**on the 2nd shift**in return for a salary in the region of between**$30-$38/hour **along with excellent employment benefits which include 401K Healthcare Vision and Dental PTO and Life Insurance.

Duties and Responsibilities as a Maintenance Mechanic include:

Performs Preventative Maintenance on equipment
Troubleshoot diagnose and repair the equipment
Must be able to build gearboxes
Maintain knowledge of each part to be able to communicate with the supplier
Responsible for keeping the down time for each machine to a minimal and perform preventative maintenance on all equipment and tools
May be responsible for ordering the parts that are necessary for each machine to operate if a purchase is necessary
Operate Lathe machine End Mill Machine Drill Press Surface Grinders Grinders Sanders Hand Tools CNC Machines etc.
Able to read and interpret blueprints and written information and able to write clearly and informatively

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 3 years of experience as maintenance mechanic in a manufacturing setting
Must have knowledge in electrical install troubleshooting hydraulics and pneumatics
Must have their own tools
