Radar Signal Processing Engineer (fmdiv.)
Job Summary
As a Radar Signal Processing Engineer you will support and improve radar signal processing performance in series production ensuring robust and customer-ready radar behavior after Start of Production (SOP). Together with an experienced team of radar experts you will analyze issues validate improvements and contribute to future radar generations.
Your contribution to something big:
- Troubleshoot radar signal processing issues and analyze measurement data to identify anomalies trends and root causes
- Develop and implement effective solutions in close collaboration with radar experts and cross-functional teams
- Build and maintain debugging testing and validation setups to evaluate radar performance changes on sensors
- Assess customer-specific radar variants and ensure alignment with customer requirements across different vehicle platforms and configurations
- Maintain structured documentation of radar signal processing changes processes and customer-specific variants
- Monitor radar signal processing trends and support continuous improvement for future radar generations
- Identify opportunities for process optimization to improve efficiency quality and team workflows
Qualifications :
What distinguishes you:
1. Education
MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering Physics Computer Science or a comparable field
2. Experience
- At least 2 years of experience in signal processing embedded development or automotive radar development
- Experience in radar signal processing is a strong advantage
3. Know how
- C programming (intermediate)
- MATLAB programming (intermediate)
- Git (intermediate)
- Visual Studio Code (intermediate)
- Jira (basic)
- IBM DOORS (basic)
- CAN (basic)
- CANoe / CANape (basic)
- Experience with instrumentation and measurement setups (metrology)
4. Languages
- English (mandatory)
- Portuguese (preferred)
