Senior Data Science Consultant

Were hiring a Senior Data Science Consultant for our Experian Turkey Analytics team in Istanbul.
This is a consultative client-facing role where you will blend analytical depth with business acumen to design deliver and scale datadriven decisioning solutions. Youll partner with clients products and crossfunctional teams lead complex engagements and own outcomes endtoend.

• Consult & Translate: Engage executives and business leads to shape problem statements define measurable value and translate needs into robust analytical approaches and roadmaps.
• Design & Deliver: Architect endtoend analytical solutions across the customer lifecycle (acquisition onboarding underwriting customer management collections).
• Model Leadership: Lead development/validation of predictive & prescriptive models (incl. Credit Risk originations pricing collection marketing models Basel IFRS9 parameter estimation/validation) and champion model lifecycle ownership (from scoping to monitoring).
• Storytelling & Influence: Turn insights into compelling narratives and recommendations that drive adoption and measurable outcomes.
• Stakeholder Management: Build trusted relationships from analyst to Clevel; ensure alignment transparency and ontime highquality delivery.
• Thought Leadership: Track industry trends best practices and emerging ML techniques; mentor teammates and raise the bar across projects.
• Regional Collaboration: Partner with regional teams to bring global capabilities to local needsand local insights back to the region

Qualifications :

• 5 years of handson experience in data science / analytics / decisioning preferably in client-facing or consulting environments.
• Proven ability to lead analytical projects endtoend and navigate multistakeholder settings with clear impact.
• Strong programming and data prep skills: Python SQL (SAS/R/Scala is a plus).
• Practical command of ML techniques (e.g. regression trees/ensembles clustering SVMs neural networks) and model evaluation/monitoring.
• Experience translating complex technical concepts into clear business language and value cases.
• Excellent communication presentation and storytelling skills.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Banking Sector Background is a plus.

Experience in one or more of:

• Strategy (growth risk-return optimization pricing portfolio steering)
• Analytics / Data Science (customer lifecycle use cases decisioning)
• Risk Functions (credit risk Basel IFRS9 collections)
• Data / Decision Ops (data management governance monitoring MLOps)
