Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

Financial Operations

  • Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts financial statements and variance analysis

  • Support budgeting forecasting and cash flow management

  • Maintain general ledger accuracy including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations

  • Assist with end-of-month and end-of-year close processes

Accounts & Controls

  • Oversee Accounts Payable and Receivable processes including supplier payments and guest invoicing

  • Monitor payroll processing compliance and reconciliations

  • Ensure strong internal controls across revenue expenses inventory and cash handling

  • Support audits and liaise with external auditors as required

Hospitality & Operational Finance

  • Work closely with department heads (Front Office Food & Beverage Maintenance Tours) to monitor costs and improve financial performance

  • Assist with stock control inventory counts and cost of goods analysis

  • Review revenue streams including accommodation F&B tours and retail

Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure compliance with taxation statutory and regulatory requirements

  • Assist with BAS GST and other reporting obligations

  • Support continuous improvement of financial systems processes and reporting tools


Qualifications :

About You

  • Degree qualified in Accounting Finance or a related discipline

  • CPA or CA qualification (or working towards) highly regarded

  • Minimum 35 years experience in an accounting or finance role

  • Experience in hospitality tourism or multi-site operations is highly desirable

  • Strong understanding of financial reporting budgeting and internal controls

  • Confident communicator with the ability to work collaboratively across departments

  • High level of attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Comfortable living and working onsite in a remote location
