Early Years Research Information & Data Officer

Permanent

Grade C

Consultation grade - subject to formal evaluation under the Pay Equity Review

Working 36.5 hours per week hybrid working combining working from home with time in our Birmingham offices.

Are you passionate about using data to make a real difference for children and families across Birmingham Were looking for a skilled and motivated Early Years Research Information & Data Officer to join our Data Performance and Information Team.

In this vital role you will:

  • Support effective data management reporting and ICT systems across Early Years and Childcare services.
  • Analyse complex data sets and produce highquality reports dashboards and performance metrics.
  • Contribute to statutory reporting including Freedom Of Information requests and performance related data requests.
  • Work collaboratively with ICT service leads and government colleagues to enhance system performance and data quality.
  • Support system development user acceptance testing and ongoing improvements to Early Years digital tools.

We are looking for someone with experience in data analysis reporting tools (e.g. SQL Power BI Power Apps Advanced Excel) and a methodical collaborative approach to managing a diverse workload.
