About the Role

As a Spatial Services Officer you will play a vital role in ensuring mining and exploration titles across NSW are accurately assessedgrantedand specialist technical services including GIS analysis survey draftingcartographyand spatial data this fastpaced and detaildriven environmentyoullsupport the delivery of highquality spatial analysismaintaincritical datasets and respond to a broad range of stakeholder enquiries. Your work ensures compliance with legislation contributes totimelyapplication processing and supports the operational success of the broader team.

You are a detailoriented spatial professional with strong technical capability and a passion for accuracy. You enjoy working with digital mapping systems interpreting plans and spatial information and solving complex problems. You thrive in an environment where priorities shift and where highquality customer serviceboth internally and externallyis communicating technical concepts clearly and you work collaboratively to achieve our ideal candidate you will bring:

As our ideal candidate you will bring:

  • Strong experience in GIS and spatial data management includingproficiencywith theESRI suite enterprise mapping systems and digital image storage/records management tools.
  • The ability to accurately interpret and analyse maps plans and survey information.
  • Clear communication skills with the capability to explain technical spatial concepts to a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Solid organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver work within legislative and policytimeframes.
  • A commitment to high-quality customer service in a technical or regulatory environment.
  • Ability to meet mandatory preemployment probity requirements.
