Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced PHP Developer to contribute to the design development and long-term evolution of backend systems and software products. The ideal candidate combines strong hands-on development skills with an architectural mindset capable of shaping scalable maintainable solutions.

Details:
Contract: B2B
Location: Prague based hybrid (at least 3 times per week during the project initial stage)
Duration: Long-term (6 months extension)
Language: English Czech

Responsibilities:

Design develop and maintain PHP-based backend applications.
Contribute to system architecture including application structure data models and integration patterns.
Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate with external services.
Make technical decisions that ensure scalability performance security and maintainability.
Review code and provide architectural and technical guidance to other developers.
Collaborate closely with product owners frontend developers and DevOps teams.
Participate in technical discussions estimations and solution design.

Requirements:

Strong proficiency in PHP (7/8).
Hands-on experience with modern frameworks such as Symfony or Laravel.
Solid understanding of OOP principles MVC and design patterns.
Experience designing and working with relational databases (MySQL PostgreSQL).
Experience contributing to or defining application architecture in medium to large-scale systems.
Familiarity with Git CI/CD pipelines and modern development workflows.
Experience with DDD microservices or modular monolith architectures
