Job Summary

The Role

Were looking for an organised and disciplined Helpdesk Manager who can lead and support their team ensuring best-in-class technology support is the day-to-day norm.

Youll be leading our established Technology team keeping service standards consistently high across the business. Youll take ownership of our Helpdesk function ensuring a world class user experience is maintained from day one. Youll manage and develop a team of 3 Support Engineers reporting into the Head of Technology Operations and working closely with teammates across the wider Technology function in a collaborative supportive environment.

In this role youll build strong positive relationships shaping and running our Helpdesk function leading and improving our helpdesk tools. Youll bring structure and focus supporting the team through regular one-to-ones mentoring and giving honest feedback while making sure service and incident escalations are handled properly. Youll be responsible for ensuring tickets are fixed in a timely manner without being stuck in the weeds doing tickets yourself. That said youll be happy to jump in during holidays or busy periods when needed. Were looking for someone who takes real pride in what they deliver helps new starters feel set up from day one and brings a supportive people-first approach that helps the team build confidence and improve their stakeholder -facing skills.

Youll have a background in technology service delivery or Helpdesk management; it would be ideal if youve worked in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders. That way youll already understand the kinds of issues that can arise - and youll be confident dealing with them in a calm practical proactive and collaborative way.
