Dow Inc. has a challenging opportunity for a Product Manager located in Singapore. Under the direction of the Sr. Group Marketing & Commercial Excellence Director P&SP APAC this role exists to provide a comprehensive of both internal and external view of the business environment and recommendations to improve the business in different dimensions.
Major Job Responsibilities:
- Close collaboration with global CX and other regional CX commercial excellence roles to align CX regional strategies with commercial team
- Oversee the administration of the quarterly CX relationship survey to regional customers developing tactics and approaches that improve both Customer & Employee experience. E.g collaborating with survey team on improving internal communication analyse survey data to determine areas of improvement improve internal and external survey tools and processes work with sales on target response rates support customer journey mapping activities/workshops for the region
- Propose market/regional/product opportunities that deliver profitable value for the business via insights and analysis from customer/product/market segment/invoice/financial/import data including analysis with regards to data on supply/demand of external and internal views of the business
- Compile and analyse effectiveness of current total service offerings (rebates credit terms delivery & storage terms). Provide insight on areas for proftiable improvement and growth initiatives
- Streamline utilize enhance business processes activities tools and guidelines e.g PD Trak DSR CRM waterfall charts pivot tables Tableau Power BI SAP etc
- Ensure consistent data standards are established for reporting throughout a global customer relationship management system
- Provide consultation development and alignment of data processes according to core business values thus supporting regional business activities
- Manipulate and process large and complex amounts of data from multiple sources
- Training new users within business on use and interpretation of various dashboards processes and tools
- Understand Dows position in the product line with a high degree of knowledge of the portfolios markets and technologies and strategies
The product manager is a key member of the APAC P&SP commercial excellence team. The role interacts with this team on a daily basis in support of departmental objectives that support the business aspiration.
Experience and Education:
Experience Required:
Minimum 2 years of business analyst financial analyst or market research experience preferably in a chemical (especially Polyethylene industry) or FMCG industry
Education Required:
Actuarial Science Business Mathematics Economics Accounting Degree preferred

- Experience producing valuable actionable analysis using vast amounts of data from financial reporting systems and input from cross-functional teams
- Expert/High proficiency in MS Office skills Excel and pivot tables Tableau Power BI SAP etc.
- Prior experience in leading cross-functional project teams
- Ability to communicate complex scenarios clearly and concisely
- Prior commercial experience in key market segments to the region
- Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Willingness and capability to build working knowledge of information from different database and platforms
- Ability to prioritize and work independently
- Ability to analyze data and situations make recommendations and assist with implementation
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Self motivating and hard working
- Knowledge of Dow P&SP business preferred
