A well-established and reputable construction and engineering firm operating within the civil and infrastructure sector is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing projects from a commercial perspective and will be expected to run projects independently.
Responsibilities
Prepare accurate cost estimates budgets and bills of quantities
Manage project costs valuations variations and final accounts
Administer and manage contracts (FIDIC and/or NEC preferred)
Monitor project progress and ensure cost control throughout the project lifecycle
Liaise with clients engineers contractors and other stakeholders
Prepare monthly cost reports and forecasts
Ensure compliance with contractual and statutory requirements
Requirements
BSc in Quantity Surveying or a related qualification
Minimum of 58 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor
Proven experience in civil engineering projects
GCC advantageous
Strong working knowledge of FIDIC and/or NEC contracts
Experience running projects independently
Strong commercial acumen and problem-solving skills
