Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Quantity Surveyor from the Logistics Industry !!!

Minimum Requirements:
Education & Registration:

BSc or National Diploma in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent).
Registered or Candidate Quantity Surveyor with SACQSP (South African Council for the Quantity Surveying Profession).

Experience:

Minimum 5-8 years experience in civil engineering projects.
Proven experience in tender compilation and submission including pricing and documentation.
Strong knowledge and experience in estimating using CCS Candy (Computerised Construction Software).
Experience in contract administration and cost control on active projects.

Contractual Knowledge:

Sound working knowledge of the NEC and JBCC suite of contracts.
Ability to interpret and apply contractual terms and conditions.

Technical Skills:

Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel).
MS Projects / Primavera P6
CCS Candy proficiency is essential.
Familiarity with project cost reporting claims preparation and progress measurement.

Soft Skills:

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Team player with the ability to liaise with clients engineers and site personnel.

Other:

Valid drivers license and own transport.
Willingness to travel to project sites if required.
