About the Role:
We are hiring a Controls Engineer to design program and commission industrial control systems for manufacturing and process industries. This hands-on role includes PLC DCS and HMI/SCADA programming control panel design instrumentation integration database management and system commissioning. Work will be at our Wilmington MA office and at a client facility (3540 minutes away) for 1.5 years with mileage reimbursed.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement control systems for industrial processes and machinery.
Program PLCs (Rockwell Automation) DCS (Emerson DeltaV) and HMI/SCADA systems (Rockwell Ignition).
Develop control system architecture select components and create schematics/documentation.
Integrate instrumentation manage databases and commission systems onsite.
Lead small projects and mentor junior engineers.

Must-Have Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Electrical/Control Mechanical Chemical Engineering or Computer Science.
5 years of experience with PLC/DCS/HMI programming and control systems design.
Instrumentation and process control experience.
Knowledge of and SQL for HMI/SCADA development.
Stable work history demonstrating technical expertise.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with industrial networking (Ethernet/IP Profibus Modbus) and automation protocols (HART Foundation Fieldbus).
Electrical schematics control panels and NEC standards knowledge.
Familiarity with S88 Batch life sciences regulations (cGMP 21 CFR Part 11) GAMP5 and validation.
Leadership and client-facing experience.
