About the Role
As a senior Carer Peer support worker you will be providing intentional peer support for families carers and supporters of consumers who access the Hawthorn Mental Health Program.

  • Offer 1:1 support for families carers supporters accessing Hawthorn clinic
  • Coordinate and facilitate a group for carers
  • Work in collaboration with treating teams across the clinic


Classifications for this position will range from MP36 to MP39($76086 - $83168 per annum pro rata).


Your Contribution

  • Completed intentional peer support and supervision training
  • Must have a lived experience of caring and supporting someone with a mental illness
  • A valid Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check or willing to obtain
