In this role you will establish and maintain OFFICE BIM/REVIT and modeling standards BIM Family Management Shared Parameters and Data Structure/Data Backbone Templates and Project Start-ups/How a Project Begins for mechanical piping and plumbing projects for commercial industrial and medical facilities.

This is a long-term TEMP-HIRE or DIRECT HIRE position (for well-qualified candidates) and must be worked on-site at company location in Colorado Springs CO.

Salary range for this position is in the 80-90K range.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

3-5 years experience as a REVIT/BIM Set-up Manager ideally (but not mandatory) with work experience for a mechanical HVAC piping and plumbing Design/Build or Construction firm
Must have a strong background and proficiency with REVIT and ideally experience with NAVISWORKS and BIM 360
Must have experience with OFFICE/BIM set-up in REVIT creation of standards and how everyone in group models project templates (.RTE) View Templates (plans sections 3D sheets) Object styles and line weights fill patterns materials and annotation styles Naming Conventions (views sheets families parameters)
Family Management including creating and maintaining office families Deciding when to use systems vs. loadables vs in-place shared vs. non-shared families family naming and versioning control parameters (type vs. instance) removal of bad/bloated families from projects
Shared Parameters and Data Structure/Data Backbone including shared parameter files naming standards grouping and discipline usage schedule standards
Templates and Project Start-up/How a Project begins including Discipline-specific templates (Arch Struct MEP) Pre-sets for worksets view templates browser organization default views and sheets
