Job Summary

TITLE:Xpedition PCB Designer

LOCATION: McLeansville NC (Onsite Hybrid Options)

Preferred candidates can work onsite in McLeansville North Carolina 3 or more days per week

SCHEDULE:9/80

Required Clearance: Secret (active or easily reinstated)

W2 Hourly Contract Only

Hourly Rate Range: $45.00 - $57.00 with limited benefits

We have an opening for an ECAD Librarian and PCB Designertosupport CCA development for electronics used in high-reliability undersea communication systems

REQUIREMENTS

Active Secret Clearance(active or easily reinstated)
Associates degree or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
A minimum of two years experience using Mentor Graphics Xpedition.
Experience with library management practices.
Experience with ECAD/PCB layout design processes.

What sets you apart:

Knowledge of one or more PCB design tools from the Mentor Graphics suite (xDM Xpedition. DXdatabook BoardStation Hyperlynx)or Altium
Experience with library management practices including Xpedition parts request system Footprint Expert Enterprise 23 3D model creation using Solidworks NX or CREO and Hyperlynx.
Circuit design and hands on prototyping experience.
Basic knowledge of IPC and manufacturing standards.
In depth knowledge of CCA fabrication techniques. Ability to communicate with suppliers when asked to provide clarification on design documentation packages.
Experience with schematic capture in Xpedition is valuable.
Documentation capture including (bill of material parts lists ODB digital fabrication packages 3D model generation)
