Business Segment Overview:

Payments: A Swift-accredited service bureau and member our Payments division provides NGOs institutions and non-profits the ability to make a local difference globally with transparent pricing across 180 countries and 140 currencies.

Position Purpose:

The purpose of this position is to ensure that business requirements are accurately validated through rigorous user acceptance testing safeguarding the quality and functionality of solutions before deployment. This role exists to bridge the gap between development and business operations ensuring systems meet user needs and deliver value to the organisation

Primary duties will include:

• Requirement Analysis
• Review and interpret business requirements to ensure clarity and testability
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify critical workflows and risk areas
• Test Planning & Design
  • Develop detailed test plans and strategies for manual and automated testing.
  • Maintain regression packs to test latest release/ workflows.
• Build Automation Regression Programmes
  • Design build and maintain frameworks and scripts for automated functional and regression testing.
  • Integrate automation solutions into Azure (CI/CD) for continuous testing.
• Automation Testing
  • Monitor automated testing processes to ensure execution/completion.
  • Analyse automation test results and report defects promptly.
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Conduct comprehensive End-to-End UAT to validate new functionality.
  • Document and communicate workflow failures to Senior members and IT teams for resolution.
• Quality Assurance & Reporting
  • Ensure adherence to testing standards and best practices.
  • Provide regular status updates and detailed test reports to senior members/ Managers.

Qualification:

• Effective planning organization attention to detail and time management skills
• Accomplished English written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic able to work individually and within a team according to deliverables schedule.
• Effective IT skills
• Ability to work accurately in a pressurised environment with stringent deadlines
• Strong communication and relationship building skills
• Bachelors/ Masters Degree or equivalent education

Knowledge and Experience

• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies (manual and automated).
• Hands-on experience with automation tools (e.g. Selenium playwright or similar).
• Proficiency in test scripting languages (e.g. Python Java or equivalent).
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Delivery test approaches .
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Background in Finance ideally FX or Cross Border Payments
• Strong Project related experience and working knowledge of Agile frameworks and methodologies
• Proven record in performing User Acceptance Testing for numerous Back Office enhancements
• Understanding of Operational Teams Settlements Reconciliations and Investigations
• Experience of SWIFT Standards and ACH settlement ISO 20022 preferred
