Role Purpose

Lead end-to-enddigital transformation and PMOfor large capital projects inmetals & miningcovering planning execution governance and benefits realization. You will drive adoption ofdigital/AI solutions(e.g.5D BIM advanced scheduling & risk analyticsdrone/LiDAR-based progress trackingIoT geo-fencingfor materialsdigital twins andGenAIassistants for controls and reporting) to deliver measurable improvements intime cost quality and safety.

Responsibilities

A. PMO & Governance

  • Establish and run thePMO: stage-gate governance change control RACI decision logs and escalation paths.

  • Build/maintainIntegrated Master Schedule (IMS); performcritical pathandwhatifanalyses; lead schedule compression strategies.

  • ImplementCost Controls(budget phasingEVMwith CPI/SPI) forecast-at-completion (FAC) variance analysis and executive reporting.

  • DriveRisk & Safety Management: risk registers mitigations contingency strategies and safety audits with digital/AI insights.

  • OverseeQuality Management: ITPs NCR/CPAR workflows vendor surveillance; ensure compliance with OISD/PNGRB/PESO/CEIG and applicable codes.

B. Procurement & Supply Chain

  • Ownprocurement management: sourcing strategy bid evaluation contracts/Change Orders/EOTs LDs/incentives.

  • Runperformance reviewsfor contractors and material vendors; trackdelivery performanceand expediting.

  • ImplementDigital Storage & Logistics Management(IoT geo-fencing) for traceability install-readiness andexceptionalerts.

C. Digital/AI Transformation

  • Define the digital roadmap and success metrics; orchestrate adoption of:

  • 5D BIM(cost schedule integration) andmodel-based quantitymanagement.

  • Advanced scheduling & risk analytics(constraint-based planning scenario simulation Monte Carlo).

  • Drone/LiDARfor volumetrics and progress;CV-basedsafety/compliance monitoring.

  • Power BI/Tableaucontrol towers;GenAIcopilots for reports risk registers and stakeholder communications.

  • Digital twins/IoTfor real-time asset & utility dashboards (energy ETP utilities).

  • Ensure cybersecurity and data governance for TAS/PLC/SCADA integrations.

D. Stakeholder & Delivery Leadership

  • Act asclient-facing leadformultibilliondollarprograms (mine expansion beneficiation smelters ports/terminals raillogistics).

  • Lead multi-disciplinary teams (civil/mech/electrical/instrumentation digital safety QA/QC); coach Associates/Sr Associates.

  • Manage benefits realization; track KPIs tied to business case (throughput cost schedule predictability).

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • 68 yearsrelevant experience inconstruction metals/mining PMO consultingacross capex projects.

  • PMP certification(mandatory).

  • (NICMAR)preferred (Construction/Project Management).

  • AlternativelyBE/(Civil/Mechanical/Electrical) MBAwith strong project/PMOtrack record.

  • Demonstrated hands-on with at least 3 of:Primavera/MS ProjectPower BI/TableauBIM (Navisworks/Revit/Synchro)Drone/LiDAR workflowsEVMIoT/SCADA/TASintegrationsGenAIcopilots.

  • Strong commercial acumen (contracts claims/changes LDs) regulatory familiarity (PESO/CEIG/environmental permits).

Core Skills

  • Program governance PMO operations EVM schedule & cost assurance risk management.

  • Digital solutioning & change management; stakeholder management at CXO/plant head level.

  • Excellent communication; executive reporting; proposal support/presales a plus.
