General Summary:
The clerical specialist provides a high-level administrative support. As a clerical specialist your job duties may include scheduling conference calls or meetings preparing correspondence and statistical reports and maintaining sensitive data.
Essential Functions:
- Reviews records for qualitative and quantitative deficiencies. Corrects computer data entry errors as needed.
- Assists internal and external customers with requests for medical records via phone or walk-in authenticating accuracy of patient identification and authorization for release of information as appropriate
- Maintains a close working relationship with other departments within Fisher-Titus.
- Participates in departmental cross training quality reviews and project activities as assigned
- Other Duties as assigned
