Information about Technical team
Technical team plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability safety and optimal performance of dialysis equipment nationwide. The team provides end-to-end technical support including installation preventive maintenance troubleshooting and corrective repairs while ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards. Working closely with clinical commercial and operations teams the Technical Team supports uninterrupted patient care and delivers high service excellence to healthcare partners.
Role Summary
As a Field Service Engineer you will focus to support the Technical department in relation to the Product servicing and coordinating with Business & Clinical Dept in new product installation.
Your Responsibilities:
Responsible for maintaining and providing technical service to renal units/dialysis related equipment.
To provide technical support to the clinical resources nurses in trials and installations.
Assist customer service with technical clarification of customer orders.
Maintain all equipment to minimize down time / ensure all services are carried out on time.
To manage spare part stocks in hand returned stock and faulty stock.
Educate staff in the hospitals / dialysis center on the operation of Fresenius machines.
Maintain proper documentations i.e. Service Reports
Record and update technical database on breaks down attended.
Conduct periodical preventive maintenance.
Conduct user and technical training.
Any other ad-hoc duties assigned.
Your Profile:
Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Biomedical Electrical Mechatronics or related engineering disciplines.
13 years experience in medical equipment maintenance field service or hospital-based technical support.
Hands-on experience with dialysis or clinical devices preferred.
Strong troubleshooting preventive maintenance and installation skills.
Ability to manage spare parts faulty returns and technical documentation accurately.
Skilled in training hospital staff and providing technical support to clinical teams.
Customer-focused proactive and able to work independently in a field-based fast-paced environment.
Willingness to travel and respond to on-site service needs.
