Position Overview
The Account Manager of Commercial Grounds Management focuses on delivering exceptional client service and managing multiple aspects of commercial landscape maintenance. The primary goals of this role are customer retention enhancement sales and securing new maintenance contracts. The Account Manager acts as the bridge between the client and the production staff promoting teamwork and ensuring that customer expectations are clearly communicated and executed efficiently.
Client Service & Sales
Primary Contact: Serve as the main field contact person for assigned clients ensuring excellent on-site relations and communication with clients contractors and subcontractors.
Retention & Growth: Focus on customer retention while meeting monthly sales goals for landscape enhancements.
Enhancements: Act as the main contact for enhancements on assigned sites; meet with clients to acquire necessary information and estimate new sales.
Proposals: Assemble and present proposals for potential Grounds Management customers.
Production & Operations
Coordination: Provide clear customer expectations to production staff to ensure efficient and proper execution of services.
Consistency: Work with other Account Managers to ensure a consistent product across the company.
Scheduling: Collaborate with managers on work schedules including seasonal work needs.
Teamwork: Work with other departments and personnel when needed to support company goals.
Field Duties: Safely drive company-owned vehicles and assist with snow removal during winter months.
Management & Administration
Industry Knowledge: Keep informed of new practices in the green industry to maintain a competitive edge.
Sales Tracking: Keep informed of new or potential sales opportunities.
