An exciting opportunity is available for the Business Lead Factory Transformation working within the Defence Bristol Manufacturing Services team and reporting directly to the Vice President of Manufacturing Services. The role focusses on leading a small team of Facility Engineers to develop and evaluate comprehensive transformation footprint options in support of the site strategies. This role will provide business support and lead on delivery and execution of specific transformation projects as appropriate.

What you will be doing:

  • HSE - Drive towards a performance and culture of Zero Harm. Taking the lead as RP with contractor management
  • Delivery - Responsible for Factory Design and layout including managing change.
  • Operational effectiveness - Improving Resilience by Leading the site Risk Management programme and supporting Business Continuity improvements.
  • Cost - Represent Rolls Royce when dealing with external Service providers.

Position qualifications:

  • Engineering qualifications to Level 4 / 5 or equivalent.
  • Proven track record delivering business results.

Preferred requirements:

  • Strong HS&E background preferable.
  • CAD knowledge preferable.
  • Ability to lead and work within a team.
  • Has a proven track record delivering improved operational performance in both favourable and unfavourable conditions utilizing Program management skills
  • Understanding/knowledge of facilitys infrastructure and maintenance practises demonstrating a breadth of experience.
