Job Title: Customer Liaison Officer

To upgrade and grow our transmission network in Central and Southern Scotland by providing continuous support and updates to customers. This role supports the Transmission Commercial & Policy team in achieving transmission network targets set by the Scottish and UK Government under CP2030 while ensuring customer needs and satisfaction are met throughout all stages of their journey with SPT.
What youll be doing
Address and support customer queries from pre-application to project energisation ensuring timely responses and being the internal customer voice.
Deliver and run various forms of engagement with customers ranging from pre-application calls to webinars.
Introduce new engagement touchpoints such as developing guidance documentation in relation to common customer themes.
Support and maintain the Salesforce system to ensure accurate customer information and capture all engagement related to each project.
Work closely with NESO to develop first-class customer relationships and ensure clear processes for customer support.
Serve as the business expert on customer matters providing guidance to senior stakeholders before strategic meetings or engagements.
What youll bring
Degree in communications marketing business or other related fields (desirable but not essential).
Experience of customer engagement preferably in related fields.
Awareness of stakeholder communication & engagement skills.
Expertise in critical problem-solving and delivering best-in-service.
Confidence in public speaking and leading calls
