ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE:
St Vincents Private Hospital Melbourne is excited to offer nurses the opportunity to undertake a structured twelve-month program Pathway to Specialty Practice for Perioperative and Peri anaesthetic services. Program is scheduled to commence on the 2nd of February 2026.
For Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses we offer the program in the following specialty areas:
Intraoperative (Instrument/Circulating) Nursing
Peri Anaesthesia (Anaesthetics and Recovery/PACU) Nursing
The program consists of:
A structured twelve (12) month program inclusive of theory and clinical placements in your chosen stream
Full Time and Part Time positions are available
Support from highly skilled education management and nursing teams
Theoretical and practical knowledge including simulation training incorporated into the study days
Ongoing employment upon successful completion of the program
The opportunity for Registered Nurses to apply for Post Graduate programs

ABOUT YOU:
The successful candidate will have;
Current registration as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA
Enrolled Nurses need to hold Diploma of Nursing Qualification
Recent acute care medical or surgical experience (minimum of 12 months)
