St Hildas School Gold Coast invites applications for the position of Strength and Conditioning Coach 2026. This position will initially commence at 20 hours per week working Monday to Friday approximately 4 hours per day (2 hours in the mornings and 2 hours in the afternoons). As the program expands there may be opportunity for increased hours and for the role to become permanent.
We are seeking an experienced passionate and dedicated Strength and Conditioning Coach to join our thriving sporting program at St Hildas School. We are part of the Queensland Girls Secondary Schools Sports Association (QGSSSA) which is the leading Queensland sports association for secondary school girls. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and coach aspiring young women foster their love of sport and help them develop their skills confidence and belief that they she can be anything.
The Strength and Conditioning Coach reports to the Director of Sport and ultimately to the Principal.

About You
About the Position
The Strength and Conditioning Coach is responsible for the design delivery and ongoing evaluation of age-appropriate evidence-based strength and conditioning programs that support the physical development performance and wellbeing of St Hildas students across all year levels and all sports at St Hildas School. Working closely with the Director of Sport sports coaches and relevant support staff the Strength and Conditioning Coach will ensure students are prepared to train and compete safely reduce injury risk and develop lifelong physical literacy. The role emphasises education injury prevention and progressive athlete development while fostering a positive inclusive and athlete-centred performance environment aligned with school values.
The Strength and Conditioning Coach plays a vital role in developing not just stronger athletes at St Hildas School but more confident capable resilient and health-conscious young women across all levels of participation who will carry these benefits far beyond their competitive years.
