Job Summary
An Outstanding-rated school with a well-established SEN provision in Dorset is seeking an experienced and dedicated SENCO to join its leadership and inclusion team on a full-time permanent basis starting April. This is an excellent opportunity for a SENCO who is passionate about inclusive education and making a meaningful impact on pupil outcomes.

The Role
Leading and overseeing SEND provision across the school
Managing EHCP processes annual reviews and statutory requirements
Coordinating interventions and tailored support for pupils with additional needs
Working closely with senior leaders teaching staff families and external agencies
Supporting and advising staff on inclusive classroom practice
Monitoring progress of pupils with SEND and contributing to whole-school improvement
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
NASENCO qualification (or willingness to complete if not already held)
Proven experience supporting pupils with SEND in a school setting
Strong knowledge of SEND legislation EHCPs and best practice
Excellent communication organisation and leadership skills
A calm professional and pupil-centred approach

Salary
Paid to scale on MPS / UPS
TLR available dependent on experience
