We are working with a community-focused secondary school in Bolton to recruit a versatile teacher for Health & Social Care (KS4/5) and Religious Education (KS3). This is a full-time temporary position starting in March ideal for an educator who enjoys teaching subjects that foster social awareness and ethical thinking.

The Role The successful candidate will deliver Health & Social Care to GCSE and BTEC students focusing on delivering the theoretical framework and supporting students with their reflective coursework. Alongside this you will teach Religious Education to Key Stage 3 classes exploring world faiths and ethical debates. The role requires a teacher who can adapt their style between vocational and academic subjects ensuring that students remain engaged and motivated. You will be responsible for all planning and marking working closely with the department leads to maintain high standards of progress as students move towards their final summer assessments.
Requirements
QTS and experience teaching both Health & Social Care and RE.

Strong organisational skills to manage BTEC coursework requirements.
Salary M1 UPS3 () per annum pro-rata.
