The Role

This is a Pure Economics position within a highly successful Social Sciences faculty.

• Specialist Instruction: Deliver the A-Level curriculum (typically AQA or Edexcel) with a focus on deep theoretical understanding and contemporary application.

• Super-Curricular Leadership: Lead the schools Economics Society facilitate debating clubs and oversee entries for the IEA and Royal Economic Society essay competitions.

• Oxbridge Mentorship: Support elite students with admissions testing (TSA/ECAA) and provide high-level mock interview practice for competitive university entries.

• Data-Driven Excellence: Maintain the departments record of high A*/A attainment through precise feedback and scholarly instruction.

The Candidate

• Academic Pedigree: A First-Class or 2:1 degree in Economics from a Russell Group or equivalent university is highly desirable.

• Subject Mastery: A profound understanding of both Micro and Macroeconomic theory with the ability to teach beyond the standard A-Level specification.
