Job Summary

A large and well-regarded secondary school in Lambeth is seeking a highly organised and proactive HR & Compliance Administrator to join its professional support staff team. This is a pivotal role within the school supporting safeguarding recruitment and staff compliance in a setting where systems accuracy and discretion are essential.

The Role

Working closely with the School Business Manager and senior leaders you will oversee day-to-day HR administration and compliance processes. Your responsibilities will include managing pre-employment checks maintaining single central record (SCR) data supporting recruitment processes and ensuring staff records are accurate up to date and fully compliant with statutory requirements.

You will act as a key point of contact for HR-related queries supporting staff professionally and sensitively while ensuring policies and procedures are followed correctly. The role also includes liaising with external agencies and supporting audits and inspections.

This position suits someone who enjoys detail-driven work understands the importance of safeguarding and confidentiality and takes pride in keeping systems robust and well organised.
