Position Overview:

The Social Media Content Creator will play a crucial role in shaping the online presence of Focus Virtual Assistants. This role involves crafting engaging and creative content to be shared across various social media platforms building brand awareness and driving audience engagement. The creator will have a strong focus on video content with specific deliverables each month.

Core Skills:

  • Proficiency in video editing skills essential for creating visually engaging content that resonates with the audience.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create curate and manage published content (images video written) across all social platforms.
  • Develop and implement a social media content strategy that aligns with the overall marketing goals of the company.
  • Produce 1012 videos each month ensuring they are engaging and align with brand standards.
  • Monitor respond to and engage with followers on social media channels to foster community.
  • Analyze social media metrics and engage in A/B testing to refine content effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with graphic designers and marketing teams to produce visually appealing content.
  • Stay updated with the latest social media trends tools and best practices.
  • Assist in developing and managing social media advertising campaigns to boost engagement.
  • Generate weekly and monthly reports on social media performance and insights.
  • Support other marketing initiatives as required to enhance brand visibility and reputation.

Employment Basis:

This position will be on a per needed basis with the potential for slightly more work at the beginning.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing Communications or a related field.
  • Proficiency in using social media platforms (Facebook Twitter Instagram LinkedIn TikTok etc.) effectively.
  • Strong writing and editing skills with an ability to adapt voice and style for different audiences.
  • Familiarity with social media management tools such as Hootsuite Buffer or Sprout Social.
  • Basic knowledge of graphic design and video editing software (e.g. Canva Adobe Creative Cloud) is preferred.

Desired Experience:

  • 1-3 years of experience in social media management or content creation.
  • Prior experience in a virtual assistance role is a plus.
  • Portfolio of previous social media content or campaigns is highly desired.
