Synergie Australia is seeking an APS6 Clinician for a trusted Federal Government client located in Melbourne or Wodonga.
The important parts:
- Pay:$65- $70 per hour Super
- Duration:12-month contract (potential for extension)
- Hours:MondayFriday
- Must be Australian Citizens
What you will be required to do:
Youll provide highquality traumainformed clinical services within a multidisciplinary team supporting the veteran community. This role combines counselling assessment documentation and collaborative care coordination.
- Conduct clinical assessments risk evaluations and therapeutic interventions
- Provide individual family or group counseling
- Maintain accurate care plans notes and client records
- Participate in case reviews supervision and clinical meetings
- Liaise with key internal stakeholders external providers and families
- Support group programs or community engagement activities as required
- Adhere to clinical governance APS standards and ethical guidelines
To be successful in the role you will:
- Hold qualifications in psychology social work counseling occupational therapy or nursing
- Have professional registration with AHPRA AASW PACFA or ACA
- Demonstrate strong clinical judgment and riskassessment capability
- Have experience supporting vulnerable clients using traumainformed practice
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to obtain a WWCC or WWVP if required
