Job Description
This hybrid role involves analysing business requirements ensuring product quality and supporting product development through detailed analysis and testing.
The professional acts as a liaison between business stakeholders development teams and quality assurance to deliver products that meet user needs and business goals
Responsibilities
- Business Systems Analyst (BSA Gather analyse and document business requirements and functional specifications.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business processes and identify improvement opportunities.
- Translate business needs into clear technical requirements for development teams.
- Facilitate communication between business users and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist in solution design and validate that deliverables meet business objectives.
- Analyze market trends user feedback and product performance metrics to inform product decisions.
- Support product managers in defining product features roadmaps and priorities.
- Conduct competitive analysis and identify opportunities for product enhancements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product requirements are well understood and implemented.
- Assist in preparing product documentation training materials and release notes.
- Develop execute and maintain test plans test cases and test scripts based on requirements.
- Perform manual and automated testing to ensure software quality and functionality.
- Identify document and track defects; work with developers to resolve issues.
- Participate in regression integration system and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
- Experience in business analysis quality assurance or product analysis roles.
- Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
- Familiarity with requirements gathering documentation and process modeling.
- Knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools (e.g. Selenium JIRA TestRail).
- Understanding of product lifecycle management and Agile methodologies.
- Ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Agile Product Owner.
- Experience with data analysis tools (e.g. Excel SQL Tableau).
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile frameworks (Scrum Kanban).
- Familiarity with user experience (UX) principles and customer journey mapping
