Job Description

This hybrid role involves analysing business requirements ensuring product quality and supporting product development through detailed analysis and testing.

The professional acts as a liaison between business stakeholders development teams and quality assurance to deliver products that meet user needs and business goals

Responsibilities

• Business Systems Analyst (BSA Gather analyse and document business requirements and functional specifications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business processes and identify improvement opportunities.
• Translate business needs into clear technical requirements for development teams.
• Facilitate communication between business users and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assist in solution design and validate that deliverables meet business objectives.
• Analyze market trends user feedback and product performance metrics to inform product decisions.
• Support product managers in defining product features roadmaps and priorities.
• Conduct competitive analysis and identify opportunities for product enhancements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product requirements are well understood and implemented.
• Assist in preparing product documentation training materials and release notes.
• Develop execute and maintain test plans test cases and test scripts based on requirements.
• Perform manual and automated testing to ensure software quality and functionality.
• Identify document and track defects; work with developers to resolve issues.
• Participate in regression integration system and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
• Experience in business analysis quality assurance or product analysis roles.
• Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
• Familiarity with requirements gathering documentation and process modeling.
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools (e.g. Selenium JIRA TestRail).
• Understanding of product lifecycle management and Agile methodologies.
• Ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Agile Product Owner.
• Experience with data analysis tools (e.g. Excel SQL Tableau).
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile frameworks (Scrum Kanban).
• Familiarity with user experience (UX) principles and customer journey mapping
