JOB SUMMARY: The Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA) under the clinical supervision of a Physical Therapist performs direct patient care activities using a variety of therapeutic procedures modalities and assistive devices designed to restore loss of muscle strength range of motion coordination mobility and body alignment to relieve pain and to improve movement and function. The LPTA functions in accordance with their State Practice Act. QUALIFICATIONS Education: Graduated from an approved Physical Therapy Assistant Program Licensure: Valid California License to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant
