Role Overview
You are the primary leader on the ground. Your mission is to coordinate a team of Service Personnel to ensure all physical IT tasks are completed on time while maintaining high standards for safety documentation and team conduct.
1. People Management & Leadership
- Daily Coordination: Assign daily tasks and manage team rosters to ensure full coverage across all shifts.
- Professional Conduct: Ensure all personnel follow guidelines wear proper IDs and behave professionally on-site.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor the speed and quality of work done by the executives.
- Grievance Handling: Listen to team concerns and resolve internal personnel issues before they escalate.
2. Conflict & Escalation Management
- Conflict Resolution: Act as a mediator to settle any disputes between team members or between your team and other site staff.
- Issue Escalation: Promptly notify the Regional POC or Amazon TSI team regarding critical issues such as staff shortages safety hazards or equipment damage.
- Problem Solving: Be the first point of contact for ground-level roadblocks (e.g. access issues or tool requirements).
3. IT Logistics & Support
- Vending Machines: Ensure executives refill IT Vending Machines (keyboards mice adapters) daily.
- Hardware Movement: Supervise the physical shifting of assets between floors using service lifts.
- Desk & Store Support: Oversee desk setups (monitors cabling) and maintain a clean tagged and organized IT Storeroom.
- Inventory & E-Waste: Supervise unpacking of new shipments and the proper segregation of E-waste.
4. Documentation & Compliance
- Tracking: Ensure every asset movement is backed by the correct Gate Pass and Invoice.
- SLA Monitoring: Ensure all daily tasks (like IT Bin cleaning) are completed according to the agreed timeline.
- Reporting: Submit daily/weekly status reports on team performance and task completion to the POC.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience: 2 years in team handling logistics or IT facility operations.
- Process Knowledge: Familiarity with SEZ/STPI movement protocols and asset tracking.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication and the ability to stay calm during high-pressure situations or conflicts.
- Availability: Must be willing to work flexible hours and weekends as per operational needs.
