Job Summary

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Refrigeration Technician based in Houston TX. The Refrigeration Technician will be responsible for diagnosing repairing and maintaining refrigeration and HVAC systems in transportation equipment. This includes performing preventative maintenance troubleshooting system malfunctions and testing systems for proper operation. The role also involves documenting repairs and ensuring compliance with safety guidelines regulations and company standards.

Qualifications

Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing refrigeration systems HVAC systems and related components
Mechanical and technical skills in troubleshooting and performing preventative maintenance
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals schematics and diagrams
Experience with tools and equipment used for refrigeration and HVAC repairs
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Commitment to following safety protocols and best practices
High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certifications or training are a plus
Prior experience in transportation or trucking-related industries is advantageous
Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
