Summary:
-
Lead component and detail design efforts including requirements development system documentation and design solutions using model-based engineering and analytical tools
-
Lead cross-functional technical coordination both internally and externally with organizations including Manufacturing Crew Operations Airplane Safety Supply Chain Management BCA Systems Software Suppliers Airline Customers Regulatory Agencies and other interfacing teams
-
Identify issues perform root cause corrective analysis and implement corrective actions using the Boeing Problem Solving Methodology (BPSM)
-
Provide rapid support to Factory and Flight Line operations to resolve emergent issues
-
Develop Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and Specification Control Documents/Drawings (SCDs)
-
Develop system requirements and design considerations that support program objectives including impacts to data reliability and integrity
-
Perform and support fault tree analyses (FTAs) and System Safety Analyses (SSA)
-
Lead and coordinate the translation of requirements into system architecture hardware and software designs and interface specifications
-
Monitor supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements
-
Resolve issues related to fielded hardware and software across the full product lifecycle
-
Research emerging technologies for potential application to company business needs
Requirements:

Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited institution in Mechanical Engineering
-
2 years of related engineering work experience
-
Shift: 1st Shift
-
Schedule:
-
Start Time: 7:00 AM
-
End Time: 3:00 PM
-
Overtime: Possible (voluntary basis)

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
