Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:

Design build and optimize Kafka producers and consumers for high-throughput systems
Implement and maintain exactly-once semantics and efficient consumer group management
Define and manage partitioning strategies for scalability and performance
Work with schema registry and handle schema evolution
Implement patterns such as outbox event replay and backfill
Manage dead letter queues (DLQ) and ensure data reliability
Integrate Kafka workflows with PostgreSQL transactional systems
Set up monitoring alerting and operational observability

Required Skills:

4 years of experience with Kafka or equivalent streaming platforms in production
Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript (mandatory)
Deep understanding of distributed systems and event-driven architecture
Experience with performance tuning fault tolerance and data consistency
