Project Leader Advanced
Tallahassee Florida.
Duration: Through June 30 2026
(with possible one (1) year renewals)
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate track and monitor project progress milestones risks and deliverables.
Develop and maintain project plans schedules and status reports.
Establish and enforce project management standards documentation and governance processes.
Assign tasks and oversee daily work efforts of cross-functional teams.
Identify resource needs and conduct quality assurance reviews.
Facilitate meetings stakeholder communications and executive briefings.
Manage project risks issues and change control processes.
Ensure alignment with state policies WIOA regulations and enterprise IT frameworks.
Support project and program managers in identifying prioritizing and implementing IT opportunities.
Lead one or more medium to high-complexity projects; may oversee larger cross-functional or enterprise-wide initiatives.
Provide training and guidance to workforce partners and stakeholders related to business services and system improvements.
Required Qualifications
Education
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Business Administration Project Management or related field
OR equivalent professional work experience
Experience
Minimum three (3) years of IT or business systems experience
Minimum two (2) years of project management experience
Experience leading cross-functional or enterprise-level initiatives
Mandatory
Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Business Services experience
Required Knowledge & Skills
Strong proficiency in project management methodologies (PMBOK Agile Waterfall or hybrid approaches)
Experience with project tracking tools and documentation practices
Resource planning and budgeting knowledge
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills
Understanding of change management practices and enterprise IT delivery frameworks
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Mandatory Expertise in WIOA Business Services
