The Life Sciences Engagement Team part of PepsiCo R&D helps communicate PepsiCo s scientific research and nutrition insights with accuracy transparency and integrity. We translate complex science into accessible evidence-based information for healthcare professionals scientific communities and other external partners. Our work ensures that Life Sciences research is shared responsibly and contributes to informed understanding of nutrition and product science.
We are seeking a Contractor to provide hands on executional support across priority programs and external engagement channels. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented communicator with strong organizational skills an interest in nutrition or life sciences and the ability to manage multiple deliverables in a fast-paced collaborative environment. This position will support implementation of high impact initiatives including conferences social programming newsletters digital content and global engagement metrics ensuring consistent timely and high-quality execution.
JOB TITLE: External Engagement Contractor

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conference & Event Execution: Support conference and event execution by coordinating product sampling logistics communicating with vendors and managing materials such as staff training decks and product one pagers. Role will also oversee apparel and swag orders develop attendee and staff surveys organize resulting analytics and assist in preparing post event summaries to ensure seamless high-quality activation at major professional gatherings.
Social Media Support: Help manage social programming by creating trackable links scheduling content across LinkedIn and Instagram and gathering and reporting social performance metrics. The contractor will help ensure timely consistent and accurate execution of social activities across engagement channels.
Webinar Program Support: Support webinar execution by drafting speaker contracts preparing accreditation applications and refining presentation decks for consistency and clarity. The contractor will also draft quiz questions for CEU accreditation and help manage other webinar related workflows to ensure smooth operations.
Website & Newsletter Support: Draft monthly newsletters for both the External Engagement (EE) and Health & Nutrition Sciences (HNS) programs pull and organize recipes for digital use and conduct research to develop content outlines with proper scientific references. The work will help maintain a steady cadence of high-quality digital communication.
Global Engagement Metrics: Track and report engagement metrics across programs consolidating data and supporting quarterly and annual reporting cycles. The work will help the team identify trends and demonstrate program reach and impact.
REQUIREMENTS:
Skills & Experience:
Strong organizational and project management skills; ability to manage multiple deadlines.
Detailed-oriented with strong follow-through.
Excellent written communication skills; ability to draft clear accurate professional content.
Comfortable handling operational and execution-focused responsibilities including coordinating logistics documentation and cross functional workflows.
Proactive collaborative and adaptable to changing priorities
Experience with social media platforms (LinkedIn Instagram) preferred.
Familiarity with MailChimp webinar platforms or learning accreditation processes is a plus.
