Job Description: Scope of Work Aurora Planning Consultant/Global Process Lead Extension
Project Context
The Aurora program is a strategic transformation initiative aimed at redesigning and deploying advanced planning capabilities across global markets. Contractors will support the Planning workstream contributing to data validation functional and user acceptance testing deployment and post-go-live stabilization.
Role Summary
Contractors will support the implementation of planning and S&OP processes across the APAC markets. They will work closely with the Aurora Planning project team and internal stakeholders across DTS the Aurora project and the wider APAC business and IT to ensure successful execution of Aurora program deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
Support the design and configuration of planning processes and tools.
Assist in the validation of inbound/outbound data and statistical forecasting models.
Assist in Pre-UAT Functional testing
Collaborate with business units to support issue/bug resolution.
Participate in workshops support documentation and training activities.
Support change management activities (Training documentation etc).
UAT
Develop and support test cases based on business scenarios.
Support test data preparation and environment readiness.
Support resolution and retesting of defects in collaboration with DTS and business teams.
Work with Project teams to facilitate stakeholder walkthroughs and sign-off sessions.
Hypercare
Help monitor system performance and data accuracy.
Support triage and resolve issues raised by end users.
Provide hands-on support during cutover and stabilization.
Support training refreshers.
Liaise with regional teams to ensure consistent execution.
Required Skills & Experience
Experience in planning (Demand and/or Supply) and S&OP forecasting or supply chain analytics.
Experience with Kinaxis or similar advanced planning tools
Experience with SAP and APO.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced global project environment.
Engagement Details
Location: Remote with potential travel to regional hubs.
Duration: 6 months
Reporting To: Associate Director
Work Hours: Flexible aligned to project milestones and testing schedules. Work hours might need to stretch across both North American and APAC Time zones
