Job Summary

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Tester with strong banking domain knowledge and advanced testing expertise to ensure the quality security and reliability of mission-critical banking applications. The role involves testing complex highly regulated systems including core banking digital banking payments and risk platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Design and execute comprehensive test strategies for core banking digital channels and payment systems.
Perform functional integration system regression and non-functional testing.
Lead API database and end-to-end testing across distributed banking systems.
Conduct performance scalability and reliability testing for high-volume transactions.
Execute security and compliance testing aligned with banking regulations.
Validate data integrity reconciliation and financial calculations.
Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines and support shift-left testing.
Collaborate with business analysts developers and compliance teams.
Mentor junior testers and contribute to QA governance and best practices.

Mandatory Skills

Strong experience in Banking & Financial Services domain.
Hands-on testing of Core Banking Systems Internet/Mobile Banking or Payment Systems.
Deep understanding of banking workflows: accounts payments loans KYC AML.
API & Integration Testing (REST/SOAP ISO 8583 SWIFT good to have).
Performance Testing for high-throughput low-latency banking applications.
Security Testing aligned with OWASP data privacy and access control standards.
Data Validation & Reconciliation Testing for financial transactions.

Strong automation skills using Java / Python / JavaScript.
Experience with automation tools (Selenium Cypress Playwright REST Assured).
Performance testing tools (JMeter Gatling LoadRunner).
Database testing using SQL (Oracle MySQL PostgreSQL).
CI/CD tools (Jenkins GitLab CI GitHub Actions).
Experience with Agile / Scrum methodologies.

Nice to Have

Experience testing real-time payment systems (UPI ACH SEPA SWIFT).
Knowledge of microservices and event-driven architectures.
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS Azure).
Experience with test data management and masking.
Prior experience working with banking clients.
