In financial operations at PwC you will specialise in improving the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations within organisations. Your work will involve assessing financial processes identify areas for improvement and design and implement solutions to streamline financial operations enhance controls and reduce costs. You will be responsible for providing guidance on financial systems implementation process automation and financial shared services.

Senior Associate FP&A

Role Summary

The FP&A Senior Associate supports financial planning forecasting and performance management processes. The role focuses on detailed financial analysis reporting variance explanations and day-to-day stakeholder support while ensuring accuracy timeliness and compliance with controls.

Key Responsibilities

Planning Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Support annual budget quarterly forecast and rolling forecast cycles.

  • Prepare and consolidate cost centerlevel forecasts and budgets.

  • Maintain planning templates and ensure consistency of assumptions.

Financial Analysis & Reporting

  • Perform monthly actuals vs. budget/forecast variance analysis.

  • Develop variance commentary highlighting key drivers risks and opportunities.

  • Prepare standard FP&A reports dashboards and ad-hoc analyses.

Business & Finance Support

  • Partner with finance and business teams to respond to spend and forecast queries.

  • Support scenario and sensitivity analysis for business decisions.

  • Assist with preparation of management and executive-level presentations.

Data Systems & Controls

  • Extract and reconcile data from ERP and planning tools.

  • Ensure data accuracy documentation and audit readiness.

  • Follow SOX and internal control requirements.

Process Improvement

  • Identify inefficiencies in reporting and forecasting processes.

  • Support automation and standardization initiatives.

  • Mentor junior associates as applicable.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or related field.

  • 48years of experience in FP&A management reporting or financial analysis.

  • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables advanced formulas XLOOKUP).

  • Experience with ERP/planning tools (SAP Oracle Hyperion Anaplan Adaptive etc.).

  • Strong analytical communication and time-management skills.
