We are looking for a Lead Surveyor (Damp Mould & Condensation) to join our team delivering high quality customer focussed services to our homes.
About the role:
Leading a team of Surveyors this vital role will ensure Alliances compliance with Awaabs Law by providing a full range of Building Surveying project management support. A key focus of this role will be any Damp and Mould cases within our properties.
The role involves surveying customer homes and communal spaces. You will be working alongside our residents and leaseholders taking ownership of ensuring that repairs are managed end to end and to manage issues and complaints that arise before during or after works.
About you:
You will have experience in delivering response repairs preferably in Social Housing and a formal building qualification (HND/HNC orDegree Equivalent).
Proven line management experience and it is essential that you have a proven track record of delivering large scale building projects.
You can carry out building diagnostics and have a working knowledge of the Schedule of rates along with experience of working with asset management leasehold response repairs empty homes and programmed works. You will have an understanding of root cause and solution for damp and mould and be able to identify Asbestos.
As a great communicator you will be confident in producing clear reports on your findings and leading your team with clear objectives and support.
Due to the nature of the role a driving licence with access to your own car or another form of transport is required.
