This full-time clinical faculty position offers a unique opportunity to lead and grow a world-class transplant program within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment.
About the Opportunity
This is an exceptional leadership role for a pediatric nephrologist with a passion for kidney transplant carespanning clinical operations regulatory compliance and strategic program development. The position includes75% clinical effort with approximatelyhalf of that dedicated to transplant patients and25% protected time for research program leadership or academic growth.
As Medical Director you will join a highly collaborative team ofthree pediatric nephrologists supported by experienced nephrology nurses dietitians social workers and business administrators. Youll also work closely with pediatric surgery urology and an adult transplant program to ensure seamless multidisciplinary care.
Division Highlights
- Comprehensive care for acute kidney injury hypertension chronic kidney disease dialysis (CKRT PD HD) plasmapheresis and transplantation
- 4000 outpatient visits and 1500 inpatient encounters annually
- Strong infrastructure with many assays run in-house in our dedicated laboratory
- Faculty appointments with UCF College of Medicine commensurate with experience

Qualifications
- M.D. or D.O. with fellowship training in Pediatric Nephrology

- Commitment to excellence in patient care teaching and scholarship
