Sime are seeking a Digital Business Analyst to join our team at our Melbourne Street branch. This is a 6-month fixed term Monday to Friday role.
As a Digital Business Analyst you will:
- Define and document current and future state business processes.
- Lead requirements gathering and produce clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Manage and refine the product backlog to ensure priorities are understood and ready for development.
- Act as the key link between stakeholders Product Managers/Owners and technical teams.
- Facilitate workshops to align teams on scope design and delivery decisions.
- Apply agile analysis techniques including story mapping and prioritisation.
- Ensure proposed solutions deliver measurable business value.
- Break down complex problems into actionable requirements.
- Support the creation and review of program artefacts and MVP planning.

About You
A successful teammate will have experience in:
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field
- Business Analyst or Agile certification.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate business needs into clear requirements.
- Minimum 3 years experience in business and/or technical analysis within a PMO portfolio or large transformation program.
- Strong customer empathy and ability to influence product leaders using design thinking principles.
- Solid understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and design thinking frameworks (e.g. Double Diamond Google Design Sprints).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Atlassian tools (Jira Confluence) for documenting requirements.
- Ability to identify and manage dependencies across crossfunctional teams.
