Job Summary:
Responsible for the delivery of enhancements and small to medium sized projects for TMNAS and its Group Companies and/or supporting Portfolio/Program/Sr Project Managers to ensure projects and enhancements are carried out according to plan and standards. This role requires coordination across multiple teams and includes support planning setting deadlines assigning responsibilities and monitoring progress.
Essential Job Functions:
- Manages full life-cycle from Initiation to Close for assigned enhancements and projects
- Creates and maintains detailed project schedules for accurate schedule tracking and progress reporting
- Facilitates the completion approval and storage of enhancement and project artifacts including approval documents
- Ensures compliance with project management governance standards
- Responsible for project documentation such as charters issue/action item logs risk logs project meeting agendas and project meeting minutes
- Collaborates with Resource Managers for project assignments
- Manages project results including the projects triple constraints of budget schedule and scope
- Ensures project management and methodologies are followed and change management procedures and supporting tools are used in executing all projects as appropriate
- Creates and presents reports on project performance including schedule budget and quality. Assists in preparation of project budgets
- Assists with arranging meetings developing agendas producing meeting minutes and preparing progress reports
- Assists in project governance assessing projects for adherence to process including required artifacts and proper usage. Works with management to collaborate with PMs to ensure understanding and compliance. Presents findings and recommendations to management
- Administers project SharePoint sites and Project Server
- Supports project server requests such as data pulls reporting and integrations
- Supports PMO practice by coordinating project artifact reviews and feedback as well as facilitates approvals
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in related discipline preferred
- 2-5 years experience preferred
- Project Management Institute PMP Certification preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Project and Microsoft Project Server
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of formal methodologies for planning executing and closing application development infrastructure enhancement or support projects
- Knowledge of activities tasks practices and deliverables associated with eliciting and clearly defining and documenting required business functional as well as non-functional requirements
- Strong customer service orientation (responsive consultative collaborative and accurate)
- Superior attention to detail
- Ability to juggle multiple competing frequently changing time-sensitive deadlines and priorities
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Proficient in use of project management discipline and best practices (PMBOK driven)
Salary range$90000 to $125000. Ultimate salary offered will be based on factors such as applicant experience and geographic location. Our company offers a competitive benefits package and bonus eligibility on top of base.
