DescriptionIn This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Install configure and administer Oracle 19c / 21c databases in single-instance and RAC environments.
- Manage Oracle Grid Infrastructure including RAC ASM and Clusterware.
- Implement and maintain Oracle Data Guard (physical and logical standby Active Data Guard).
- Perform database upgrades and migrations following Oracle-recommended best practices.
- Apply Release Updates (RU) RURs and one-off patches with minimal downtime.
- Configure and manage Oracle Key Vault (OKV) for centralized encryption key management.
- Manage TDE wallets key rotation and security compliance.
- Support Oracle APEX applications including patching upgrades and performance tuning.
- Monitor and tune database performance using AWR ADDM ASH.
- Implement and test backup recovery and DR strategies using RMAN.
- Ensure database security auditing and regulatory compliance.
- Strong experience with Linux/Unix OS administration for database operations.
- Proficiency in shell scripting for automation health checks and maintenance tasks.
- Experience in job scheduling and automation using cron and OEM.
- SQL Server administration knowledge is a strong advantage.
