We are hiring a Clinical Nurse Manager 2 - Endoscopy for a leading Hospital in Dublin Ireland.
Job Title: Clinical Nurse Manager II
Department: Endoscopy
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Full-Time)
Responsibilities
Provide strong clinical and professional leadership to ensure high standards of patient care using evidence-based practice.
Monitor quality of care delivery provide expert guidance and ensure accurate and complete clinical documentation.
Lead the development implementation and evaluation of best practice policies procedures and quality improvement initiatives.
Prepare reports for the Director of Nursing and collaborate with quality and risk teams to address complaints and improve patient satisfaction.
Manage staffing through effective scheduling allocation of resources recruitment performance reviews and staff appraisals.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies monitor staff attendance and oversee mandatory training and induction of new staff.
Promote a positive work environment team collaboration staff morale and professional development within the unit.
Develop and enhance endoscopy services build relationships with consultants and support frontline staff through supervision and mentorship.
Maintain a safe clean and effective care environment ensure effective communication participate in committees and deputise for senior nursing roles as required.
Support education and self-development by identifying training needs participating in professional learning activities and evaluating clinical practice to improve patient outcomes.
Requirements
Registered in the General Division of An Bord Altranais.
A minimum of five years post-registration experience in an Endoscopy setting.
Possess a relevant management qualification or demonstrable management experience appropriate to the role.
Evidence of ongoing personal and professional development.
