• Able to ensure integration with related corporate and client cluster policies and standards and incorporation of industry best practices.
  
• Able to research develop implement and maintain information architectural policies and standards as approved by management.
  
• Ability to develop information architecture specifications with service providers and vendors.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with Computer Aided Software Engineering (CASE) tools.

Information Architecture Knowledge and Experience:

• Demonstrated background in enterprise architecture with a specialized knowledge and practical experience in developing information architecture for an organization including data modelling.
  
• Demonstrated knowledge of information governance including data mastering data analytics and information management lenses such as records privacy and access.
  
• Proven experience developing organization-wide information models translating business requirements into data concepts reconciling conflicting terms and definitions across multiple business lines.
  
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience assessing IT systems in terms of business information needs definitions and standards as well as applying master data management practices in the future governance and integration of an organizations IT systems.
  
• Demonstrated experience in the use of Computer Aided Software Engineering (CASE) tools to enable development of information architecture artefacts and data modelling.
  

Governance Strategy and Leadership Experience:

• Demonstrated background in leading all or multiple elements of developing information governance frameworks and integration strategies to increase the trustworthiness availability and utility of an organizations information
  
• Proven experience supporting business transformation leads in the development of information governance frameworks and integration strategies to increase the trustworthiness availability and utility of an organizations information
  
• Experience supporting strategic IT investment planning decisions and business transformation initiatives involving business case development and the implementation of new solutions with broad business implications.
  
• Experience supporting project governance requirements (i.e. project gating architecture checkpoints).
  

Stakeholders Engagement and Communication Skills:

• Experience working collaboratively with various stakeholders including vendors influencing outcomes and obtaining buy-in from senior level management key stakeholders and client management.
  
• Strong facilitation negotiation skills and diplomacy to lead or support consultations resolve issues defuse tensions and obtain buy-in from wide and diversified working groups and internal and external stakeholders.
  
• Ability to manage business stakeholders expectations and understand business processes and information requirements to ensure project scope business needs and prerequisites are clear and agreed on by all key stakeholders.
  
• Demonstrated ability to translate business-specific definitions and rules to commonly applicable concepts and terms as well as communicate data concepts back to stakeholders in business-relatable language or examples.
  
• Demonstrated ability to translate business information needs to information systems and data analytics solution design.
  
• Proven experience in producing exceptional presentations dashboards briefing papers and submissions business cases and status reports to different types of audiences including senior executives.
  

Public Sector Experience:

• Experience leading organization-wide information architecture for a municipal provincial or federal government.
  
• Experience developing master data management practices or organization-wide conceptual data models as part of public sector projects.
